The National School for  Hydraulics (ENSH) takes great proud for having trained for over forty-five (45) years over 5,400 engineers in the hydraulic professions including 127 foreigners from seventeen countries of the African continent. It thus contributes to the national and African scale to disseminate knowledge and skills in the field of hydraulic engineering and water management.

Its DNA of strong engineering of applied pedagogy and its sense of the articulation of the fundamental to the professional context applied to the reality of the field, confers to it to be always up to date with the perpetual evolutions of the concerns of the society vis-à-vis of this precious element at the base of all life on earth.

The ENSH welcomes annually for 3 years of training, hundreds of male and female students from the national competition for access to the “Higher Schools” after two years of studies in preparatory training.

These training offers are often updated by training teams, experts from professional sectors and business leaders in order to meet the new requirements of the socio-economic world.

The curricula have been developed in line with international standards and norms in teaching, while meeting the requirements of the national quality assurance standard as well as the European quality standard adapted to African establishments, which has been in place since last year as part of the European Erasmus + program. Since March 2019, the ENSH has taken steps to enhance and confirm its reputation and its diploma of state engineering in hydraulics by obtaining the accreditation certificate for the EUR-ACE label awarded by the Commission of Engineer Titles (CTI) during the year 2020. 

Teaching at the ENSH is provided by a teaching staff made up of permanent research-teachers and professionals, in the presence of educational and scientific research laboratories which enhance practical teaching. The theoretical and practical lessons are consolidated by study trips and work placements during the three years of training, in companies and project implementation sites. For a very long time, the school’s training product has preserved its leadership position in terms of quality in this discipline which is so important to the country’s economy.

The double competence of State Engineer and Master in Hydraulics as well as the partnership with the local economic sector and schools, universities and research centers from abroad  entrusted in order to provide our engineering graduates with an undeniable strong added value. useful to their professional life.

Supporting each student’s innovative personalized projects as a future graduate in order to guarantee their success and their emergence remains a goal to be achieved by setting up an incubator and subsidiaries as facilitating instruments for the benefit of our students. This is one of the main objectives set by the school, to make its contribution to the development of the country’s economy.
